Summary
This study looks at how problems with the vagus nerve (a key nerve connecting the brain and gut) may cause gut issues and inflammation in people with HIV. Researchers will test if a medication called pyridostigmine or vagus nerve stimulation can help. About 207 adults with HIV and healthy volunteers will take part.
