New surgical approach aims to improve recovery for children with rare bowel disorder
NCT ID NCT07468565
Summary
This study compares different surgical techniques for treating Hirschsprung disease, a rare condition where children are born without nerve cells in part of their bowel. Researchers will look at three surgical approaches to see which one helps children recover better and have fewer complications. The study will review medical records of 70 children who had surgery at two French hospitals between 2010 and 2025.
