Doctors compare surgery methods for rare childhood bowel disorder
NCT ID NCT07468565
Summary
This study looks back at the medical records of children who had surgery for Hirschsprung disease, a rare condition where part of the bowel lacks nerve cells. Researchers will compare three different surgical techniques to see which one leads to better short-term recovery, fewer complications, and better long-term bowel control. The goal is to help surgeons choose the best approach for future patients.
