First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study compares a new blood pressure cuff (Philips AMC) with the standard arterial line (a small tube in the wrist) in 205 adults having surgery or in the ICU. The goal is to see if the cuff can accurately measure blood pressure and predict fluid needs. Participants must be 18 or older and already need both a cuff and an arterial line for their care.
