New cuff could replace needles for blood pressure monitoring in hospitals
NCT ID NCT06895590
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests a new blood pressure cuff (Philips AMC) to see if it works as well as the standard arterial line (a small tube in the wrist) in adults having surgery or in the ICU. About 205 participants will have both devices used at the same time so doctors can compare the readings. The goal is to find out if the cuff is accurate and safe enough for routine use.
