Summary

This study looks at whether a single dose of the anti-inflammatory drug dexamethasone, given during hip replacement surgery, can help patients feel better and recover faster. About 224 adults aged 60 and older having a hip replacement will receive either a low or moderate dose of the drug. Researchers will track their quality of life and recovery for up to three months after surgery.
