First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study is for people with stomach cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen. It tests a treatment called HIPEC, where heated chemotherapy is given directly into the abdomen during surgery to remove the tumor. The goal is to see if this lowers the chance of cancer coming back in the abdomen. About 200 adults aged 18 to 80 who are healthy enough for surgery can join.
