Summary

This study is checking how long a new hip replacement part (the SMS femoral stem) lasts in people with severe hip pain from arthritis, injury, or other conditions. About 550 adults aged 18 to 75 who need a total hip replacement will take part. Researchers will track the stem's survival, pain relief, movement, and quality of life for years after surgery.
