NCT ID NCT03724058
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 38 times
Summary
This study looks at two different hip implant shells (the Trident II and the older Trident Hemi) to see if they hold in place equally well after hip replacement surgery. About 87 adults aged 40-75 who need a new hip will be tracked for up to 10 years using special X-ray techniques. The goal is to make sure the new shell is as stable and long-lasting as the current standard.
