First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests a new, minimally invasive procedure called TENEX to help people with long-lasting hip pain from Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome (GTPS). The procedure uses ultrasound guidance to release tight tendons around the hip. Researchers will compare pain levels, mobility, and medication use in 150 adults who have not improved with other treatments. The goal is to see if this outpatient procedure can reduce pain and improve daily activities like walking and standing.
