New needle treatment could ease stubborn hip pain without surgery

Summary
This study tests a procedure called TENEX that uses ultrasound guidance to release tight tendons around the hip. It is for people with chronic hip pain (GTPS) who have not improved with other treatments. The goal is to reduce pain, improve walking and daily activities, and lower the need for pain medications. About 150 adults aged 18 to 90 will take part.
