Groin pain study pulled before it began
NCT ID NCT05716204
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study was designed to see if a specific manual therapy technique (high-force hip distraction) could reduce pain and improve strength in athletes with osteitis pubis, a type of groin inflammation. It planned to compare the real technique to a placebo in a small group of athletes. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
