Groin pain study pulled before it started

NCT ID NCT05716204

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study was designed to see if a specific manual therapy technique (high-force hip distraction) could reduce pain and improve strength in athletes with osteitis pubis, a type of groin inflammation. The plan was to compare the real technique to a placebo in a small group of athletes. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
