First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether high-intensity interval training (HIIT) can improve how muscles use sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. The goal is to see if HIIT helps the body store sugar as glycogen and reduces fat in the liver. The study will involve 36 adults aged 45-75 who have had type 2 diabetes for 1-5 years.
