Summary
This study tests a new device called the HighLife transcatheter mitral valve replacement system for people with severe mitral regurgitation (a leaky heart valve) who cannot have standard surgery or repair. About 240 participants will receive the device and be followed for 24 months to see if it reduces death or heart failure hospitalizations. The goal is to provide a safer treatment option for those with limited alternatives.
