Summary
This study looked at whether advanced high-resolution MRI can help doctors better diagnose the cause of optic disc swelling, a sign of various eye or brain conditions. Researchers enrolled 197 adults with optic disc edema and used new MRI sequences to see if they could more accurately identify problems like inflammation, high pressure in the skull, or other diseases. The goal was to boost diagnostic confidence and reduce uncertainty.
