More Check-Ins after hemorrhoid surgery may boost recovery

NCT ID NCT07183332

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looks at whether having more frequent phone calls after hemorrhoid surgery can help patients feel better and have fewer problems. About 116 adults who had surgery for mixed hemorrhoids will be split into two groups: one gets the usual follow-up calls, and the other gets more calls. Researchers will compare quality of life, pain, and complications to see if extra check-ins make a difference.
