First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether high-flow tracheal therapy (HFT) can improve the thickness and stickiness of mucus in people with a tracheostomy (a breathing tube in the neck). Fifteen adults who already use HFT at night will have their mucus tested with and without the therapy. The goal is to see if HFT makes mucus easier to clear and improves comfort and breathing.
