Summary
This study compares high-flow heated oxygen (HFNC) with standard low-flow oxygen to prevent dangerously low oxygen levels during awake placement of a breathing tube in people with difficult airways. About 336 adults from six hospitals in China will take part. Researchers will measure how often oxygen drops occur and how well the procedure goes.
