This study compared high-flow nasal oxygen (HFNO) to standard noninvasive ventilation for people having a moderate COPD flare-up. 51 adults with COPD and specific blood gas levels took part. The goal was to see if HFNO could improve blood acidity and oxygen levels over 24 hours, potentially offering a more comfortable treatment option.
