Summary
This study looked at whether a high-flow nasal cannula (Airvo) could help COPD patients with high carbon dioxide levels who were not using their standard breathing machines. Only 3 patients were enrolled before the study was stopped early. The goal was to see if the device could lower carbon dioxide and reduce flare-ups over one year.
