Summary
This study is testing if a short, high-dose treatment with the drug cabergoline can put small, benign pituitary tumors (prolactinomas) into remission. It compares this 6-month high-dose approach to the standard treatment, which uses the lowest effective dose for two years. The goal is to see if the short, intense treatment leads to a higher remission rate, potentially allowing patients to stop medication sooner.
