Summary

This study is testing a new treatment strategy for small, benign pituitary tumors that cause excess prolactin hormone. It compares a short, high-dose course of the standard drug cabergoline (about 6 months) against the usual long-term, low-dose treatment (2 years). The goal is to see if the short, intense approach leads to more long-lasting remission, potentially allowing patients to stop medication sooner.
