First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether certain foods that bind to bile acids can lower bile levels in the stomach and saliva of children aged 5 to 21 who rely on feeding tubes. The goal is to reduce the risk of lung complications from accidentally breathing in stomach contents. Participants will try two different blenderized diets and an amino acid formula over four weeks to see which works best.
