What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

HIFEM (High Intensity Focused Electromagnetic) device (BTL Emsella)

What this could lead to

If it works, this could offer a non-invasive way to help new mothers restore pelvic floor strength after childbirth.

What could go wrong

This is a small, non-randomized early study with only 60 participants. Results may not apply to all women, and the device is not a cure for pelvic floor dysfunction.
