Summary
This study tested whether a lighter mesh causes less pain after inguinal hernia surgery than a heavier one. Over 400 men with a first-time hernia were randomly assigned to receive either a heavy or light mesh. Researchers measured pain and quality of life after the operation to see which mesh worked better.
