First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding herbs and spices to meals can help college students with poor diets eat healthier and follow U.S. dietary guidelines. About 30 students will take part in a 6-week program that includes nutrition education, recipe ideas, and take-home spices. Researchers will measure changes in diet quality, blood sugar, cholesterol, and gut health to see if this approach is practical and effective.
