Ancient herbal formula tested in modern stroke trial

Summary
This study is testing whether two different versions of a traditional Chinese herbal pill work equally well for treating acute ischemic stroke. Researchers will enroll 100 stroke patients to compare how well each version helps with recovery over 84 days. The study will also look at how the pills might affect gut bacteria and the body's immune response.
