Summary
This study tested a vaccine made from a patient's own immune cells, trained to attack HER-2 positive breast cancer cells. The goal was to see if it is safe and can boost the immune system to prevent cancer from returning in 15 women with high-risk or recurrent breast cancer who had no signs of disease after standard treatment.
