Summary
This study aims to create a detailed map of the different types of hepatitis C virus circulating in France. Researchers will analyze existing blood samples and medical records from 2,500 newly diagnosed patients to identify which virus types are most common. The goal is to understand why some treatments fail and to track patterns of drug resistance, which could help improve future care for people with hepatitis C.
