Summary

This study aimed to see how often people with chronic hepatitis C have a blood condition called monoclonal B-cell lymphocytosis (MBL), and whether treating hepatitis C affects MBL. Researchers planned to enroll 29 participants and compare blood samples before and after hepatitis C treatment. However, the study was terminated early, so the findings are incomplete.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.
