Scientists watch what happens when hepatitis b patients stop their pills
NCT ID NCT04431245
Summary
This study aims to understand what happens when people with chronic hepatitis B stop their long-term antiviral medication. Researchers will monitor 54 patients who have been on stable treatment for at least 3 years to see how their immune system and the virus react after stopping. The goal is to gather knowledge about the risks and potential benefits of treatment cessation, not to test a new cure.
