First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at whether people with hemorrhoids are more likely to have varicose veins in their legs. Researchers will use ultrasound to check the leg veins of 400 adults—half with hemorrhoids and half without. No treatments or medications are involved; the goal is simply to see if a connection exists.
