First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study aims to find out if people with hemorrhoids are more likely to also have varicose veins in their legs. Researchers will use ultrasound to check the leg veins of 400 adults—half with hemorrhoids and half without. No treatments or medications are involved; the goal is simply to gather information and see if a connection exists.
