First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study is observing 420 adults undergoing emergency non-cardiac surgery to see if their hemoglobin level before the operation is linked to developing acute kidney injury afterward. Researchers will also track how long patients stay in the hospital. The goal is to better understand this relationship, not to test a new treatment.
