First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study aims to find out if people with gastrointestinal angiodysplasia (abnormal blood vessels in the gut that cause bleeding) also have blood disorders, especially related to von Willebrand factor. Researchers will check if this factor can help predict the risk of rebleeding or death in the hospital. About 55 adults with this condition will undergo endoscopy, colonoscopy, and blood tests.
