Summary
This study tested a brief home-visiting program for birth parents who have been reunified with their young children (ages 1-5) after foster care. The goal was to improve parenting skills and child well-being, and reduce the chance of children being removed again. 264 parents in Washington State took part, and researchers measured changes in parenting sensitivity, knowledge, and child welfare outcomes.
