First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study compares a continuous ECG patch (worn for days) to a handheld ECG device (used as needed) in 588 people who have symptoms of an irregular heartbeat but haven't been diagnosed yet. The goal is to see which device finds more heart rhythm problems and is more cost-effective. Participants will use one of the two devices for one month.
