Researchers probe mysterious link between heavy bleeding and 'Double-Jointedness'
NCT ID NCT05685199
Summary
This study aimed to understand if there is a connection between very heavy menstrual bleeding and having very flexible, 'loose' joints (hypermobility). Researchers enrolled 15 girls and women with severe bleeding and anemia to compare their symptoms and health. The study did not test treatments; it collected information through exams and questionnaires over three years to learn more about these conditions.
