NCT ID NCT05916469

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at two hormone treatments—a hormonal IUD and a daily pill—to see which works better for heavy menstrual bleeding in people aged 10-24 with inherited bleeding disorders like von Willebrand disease. About 300 participants will use one of the treatments for 6 months, and researchers will track bleeding, satisfaction, and quality of life. The goal is to find the best option to control symptoms and improve daily life.
