Summary
This study tested a special heating cable (Thermowire) to warm chemotherapy liquid directly inside the body during a procedure called HIPEC. The goal was to avoid using a complex external pump, which could lower risks and costs. The trial included 13 patients scheduled for HIPEC to treat cancer in the abdomen.
