Summary
This study is testing a procedure where heated chemotherapy is washed through the abdomen during surgery for stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer. The goal is to kill any stray cancer cells left behind to prevent the cancer from coming back in the abdominal cavity. It is for patients at high risk of this type of recurrence and involves the drugs cisplatin and paclitaxel.
