First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether 30 sessions of far infrared sauna bathing can improve blood pressure and blood sugar control in adults with obesity. Twenty participants with a BMI between 30 and 45 will undergo the sauna therapy. Researchers will measure changes in blood pressure, glucose, insulin, and artery stiffness. The goal is to see if heat therapy can help manage hypertension and insulin resistance without medication.
