Could a warm bath help your heart? scientists test heat as exercise mimic
NCT ID NCT06633198
Summary
This early-stage study aims to understand if passive heat therapy, like sitting in a warm room, can improve the function of tiny blood vessels in older adults. Researchers want to see if this heat exposure can mimic some of the cardiovascular benefits of exercise, which can be difficult for some people to perform regularly. The study will measure changes in blood vessel dilation and other markers in a small group of healthy participants aged 18-80.
