Heating up the fight: trial tests heat and radiation combo for tough cancers
NCT ID NCT06546969
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether adding heat therapy and a special type of radiation to standard drug treatment is safe and feasible for people with advanced bile duct cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. The goal is to see if this three-part combination can better control the cancer. The study will enroll about 15 participants to first check for safety issues and see if the heat treatment can be delivered as planned.
