Summary
This study compares two ways to monitor heart failure patients: using a special algorithm (HeartLogic) that sends alerts from an implanted device versus regular in-person checkups. About 578 adults with heart failure who recently got a compatible defibrillator will take part. The goal is to see if remote monitoring reduces deaths, hospital stays, or declines in quality of life over 12 months.
