Smart pacemaker alerts could predict heart failure worsening

NCT ID NCT05761249

First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looked at how HeartInsight, a remote monitoring tool built into certain pacemakers, helps doctors spot early signs of worsening heart failure. About 100 heart failure patients with BIOTRONIK CRT-D devices were followed to see how doctors used the alerts and what actions they took. The goal was to understand how the tool works in everyday care, not to test a new treatment.
