Can an app train nurses to scan your heart?
NCT ID NCT05874128
Summary
This study tested whether a new software called HeartFocus could help nurses with minimal ultrasound training capture good-quality heart scan images. 240 adult patients scheduled for a heart ultrasound received two quick scans: one from a nurse using the software and one from an expert. The goal was to see if the software-guided images were clear enough for cardiologists to assess heart size and function.
