Can an app turn nurses into heart scan pros?
NCT ID NCT05874128
Summary
This study tested whether a new software called HeartFocus could help nurses with no prior ultrasound experience take good-quality heart scans. 240 adult patients scheduled for a heart ultrasound received two quick scans: one from a nurse using the software and one from an expert. The goal was to see if the software-guided scans were clear enough for doctors to check heart size and function.
