New test may predict heart transplant recovery
NCT ID NCT03373279
Summary
This study tested a simple electrical measurement to track body composition changes in 69 patients after a heart transplant. Researchers wanted to see if this measurement could better predict recovery problems like rejection or infection compared to older methods like BMI. The goal was to gather knowledge to help doctors better assess which patients might struggle after surgery.
